A Paris court sentenced the son of Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi to a four-month suspended prison term for physically abusing his pregnant partner and carrying an unlicensed firearm, judicial sources said 25 May 2005. Hannibal Kadhafi, who did not attend the hearing in the French capital, was sentenced "for intentional violence on a vulnerable person, in this case his pregnant partner."
